The Downtown Commons. Recently renovated just this year, DOCO, is a outdoor shopping plaza located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento. With many shops and restaurants, there’s lot to do in DOCO.
There are plenty of parking structures around the DOCO area but these have parking fees. Some shops offer free parking validation so be sure to ask for it.

McKinley Park is an expansive park located in North Sacramento. There are many amenities at the park including a basketball court, a soccer field, tennis courts, and a volleyball court. One of the highlights of the park is the McKinley Rose garden.
Parking is on the street but be sure not to park on the blocks in front of houses as a permit is required.

Sacramento State is the California State University of Sacramento. It’s a large university to walk around and explore. Go on top one of the parking structures, and just hang out with some friends (socially distanced!) for a good time.

West Wind Drive-In
With current restrictions due to the pandemic, the only movie places are offered outdoors. The West Wind Drive-In in Sacramento offers moviegoers the chance to experience a classic drive in. Movie sound is even played through the car radio. There is also a snack bar offering a wide variety of food.
Parking is inside as this is a Drive-In movie theater!
